When you join the electoral roll, or PCC certain personal information is collected from you. You can be assured that it will only be used in accordance with this privacy statement.

What we do with the information we gather
We require this information to administer your membership of the church and to provide services to you. The data we collect is used for:
- Internal record keeping.
- Internal Church administration.
- Recording financial transactions relating to your generous giving.
- Processing Gift Aid returns
- Processing Disclosure Barring Services applications and renewals
- Recording family details for Safeguarding purposes
- Contacting you with relevant correspondence.
Your parish church and benefice will retain your personal information on a password protected spreadsheet for the duration of your membership of the church. This information is held on personal computer and accessed only by the PCC Secretary, Electoral Roll Officer, Gift Aid Officer and Safeguarding Officer where relevant. Your personal data will not be communicated to any third party without your express permission.
The benefice complies with all applicable Data Protection Regulations. We may change this policy from time to time by updating this policy and will notify you accordingly.
